Seokguram Area Soil Restoration Project

The starting point of the landslide

Ecological Survey Launched for Restoration of Landslide-Affected Terrain in Tohamsan

Code of Nature has recently been commissioned by the Korea National Park Service to restore landslide-affected areas around Seokguram, located in the Tohamsan region of Gyeongju. The company is currently conducting on-site inspections and ecological assessments to develop an environmentally friendly restoration plan using Mosby, its moss-based soil recovery solution.

This project goes beyond basic terrain recovery. It aims to ensure long-term landscape restoration and ecological stability through comprehensive analysis of soil erosion, vegetation resilience, and biodiversity. Notably, this marks one of the first applications of Mosby within a cultural heritage site, demonstrating the potential of nature-based restoration even in areas of historical and environmental significance.
