AMosby Application Expected to Restore 80% of Soil Health in Taean Reclamation Site Within Two Years

Code of Nature applied its moss-based soil restoration solution, Mosby, to a 6,600 m² section of reclaimed land in Taean, Chungcheongnam-do, where crop growth had been severely hindered due to salinity and nutrient deficiencies. Following the restoration, the soil quality improved from “Poor” to “Good,” and it is projected to reach approximately 80% of normal soil condition within two years.

This marks the first application of Mosby in a reclaimed coastal environment. Early results show significant improvement in soil health indicators—including increased organic matter and organic carbon content, as well as restored microbial activity.
The Taean project stands as the first successful demonstration of Mosby’s effectiveness in an environment previously considered difficult to restore using conventional methods, paving the way for new possibilities in soil restoration.
